The US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Workshops introduce Army trainers to immersive instructional technologies, such as highly realistic, interactive games and video-based technology. Stranger Entertainment is a continuing collaborator with the USC Institute for Creative Technologies, presenting the recurring Bleeding Edge Games series, a look into the video game development process and potential application of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) video games in Department of Defense training.

 

 

Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Workshops

 

Stranger Entertainment participates in DARPA’s Constructive Simulation Workshops and the Massively Multiplayer Persistent Worlds Study Group, exploring the use of massively multiplayer technology and environments for large-scale military training, disaster-relief planning and emergent behavior studies.
